Contract: Permanent Closing date: 9th January Recruitment Partner: Anastasia Walker As a Pharmacy L&D Designer, you will be involved in the design and development of Boots training interventions to support hundreds of Boots pharmacy and healthcare colleagues. This includes, but isn’t limited to, training to support the business’ Pharmacy Services interventions, consumer healthcare, the healthcare strategy and pharmacy programmes. About the opportunity Working with the central team in the Nottingham Support office, Healthcare Academy Trainers and other field team members, and external partners, the training interventions created will support career pathways and shape the professional development of Boots pharmacy and healthcare colleagues. As part of the role, you will have opportunities to work with internal Boots teams and relevant external partners such as training providers to support with the design and delivery of tailored training interventions. Reporting into Healthcare Capability Manager - Pharmacy Practice Boots UK, you will be: Accountable for scoping, designing and delivering innovative learning interventions for the whole pharmacy team. Creates strong relationships with stakeholders in the wider L&D team, Support Office, field and store teams to ensure training solutions are current, patient-centred and in line with business strategy. An authentic, highly credible and impactful pharmacist with a passion for professional standards and professional development in a pharmacy-led retail environment As a key member of the Pharmacy Learning & Development team, pro-actively contributes to the wider healthcare agenda to ensure stores receive a seamless learning experience from the different Healthcare Capability workstreams. What you will need to have GPhC/PSNI Registered Pharmacist. Minimum of 2 years post registration experience in community pharmacy, preferably with a background in people development and training. Line management experience in stores (desirable). Excellent communication skills, both verbally & written are essential. This is a Nottingham support office-based role.
