Job Purpose:
To start mid-March, this position will support the Financial Controller and the Finance Manager in ensuring the underlying accounting records are accurately maintained and to proactively manage the sales ledger.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Bank reconciliations
* Purchase invoice queries
* Month end accruals and prepayments, and other required journals
* Making supplier payments
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Monthly CIS returns
* Assisting in monthly payroll
* Revenue analysis
* Ensure efficient management of ledger, collecting cash within payment terms.
* Promptly address client queries
* Create and distribute Invoices/ statements/ reminders from the system.
About you:
* Excellent communication skills
* Competent with Microsoft Office packages
* Actively studying CIMA/ACCA/ACA or the like with good experience in accounting roles
