Role Responsibilities
1. Develop procurement systems and data
2. Manage supply chain performance and drive improvement
3. Ensure adherence to supplier contracts in alignment with strategies and policies
4. Identify cost-saving opportunities
5. Facilitate the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials and tooling through the supply chain
6. Establish stock replenishment targets and monitor their achievement
7. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and act as the primary point of contact for international customs documentation and trade requirements
8. Provide guidance on incoterms to the business
9. Lead procurement efforts for special projects and capital equipment
10. Analyse and agree on contract terms and conditions, ensuring business risks are managed
Key Skills Required
1. Proven experience in Procurement
2. In-depth knowledge of NEC3, NEC4, FIDIC or similar contract frameworks
3. Experience within Manufacturing / Engineering environments
4. Experience of supplier development and supplier performance improvement programmes
5. Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
6. Flexibility to travel as required
This role will be fully office-based.
