About the role
As our Maintenance Assistant you will be responsible for assisting our Senior Maintenance person with all repairs and maintenance across our home. Youll walk the home daily to pro-actively identify any areas that need attention, whilst also conducting regular safety checks on various equipment. Youll create a maintenance programme for the home alongside our Home Manager and of course youll interact with our residents on a daily basis - so youll be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our residents dignity at all times.
Heres some other important things you need to know:
Experience in a similar maintenance roles including painting and decorating. Plumbing and electrical experience would be beneficial.
You will keep up to date and accurate records of all checks and repairs completed and scheduled
