Deputy Home Manager – Residential Care

We are looking for a Deputy Home Manager to support the smooth running of our client’s residential care home. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and inclusive environment where residents can thrive.
As Deputy Home Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of care and support for residents. You will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, leading a dedicated care team, and ensuring a person-centred approach to care that promotes independence and well-being.
The Home provides care to a small number of residents who have been diagnosed with Autism and related conditions.
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or above)
* Proven experience in a leadership or deputy management role within a residential care setting
* Strong understanding of autism and best practices for supporting individuals with diverse needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance
* Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered to residents with autism
* Leading and mentoring care staff, providing training and professional development opportunities
* Fostering a positive and inclusive home environment that promotes well-being and independence
* Acting as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external agencies to ensure holistic support
