To reduce Vodafone’s cyber risk exposure by collecting, analysing, and disseminating cyber intelligence to proactively defend against threats. The Cyber Intelligence Specialist works at the heart of Vodafone’s Global Cyber Defence organisation in the Cyber Defence Threat Unit (CTU). The Cyber Threat Unit (CTU)’s role is to support the protection of Vodafone and its customers from cyber security threats by providing actionable intelligence that helps to prevent, detect, and disrupt relevant malicious cyber activity. You will be working at the heart of Vodafone’s Cyber Defence with access to commercially leading intelligence feeds, technical data, and our own Threat Intelligence Platform. You will be part of a team contributing to a wider effort to protect Vodafone, its customers, and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) from cyber criminals and other malicious online actors. What You’ll Do Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Support and lead cyber security intelligence triage, delivery of cyber security assessments and action recommendations to stakeholders at technical, managerial, and executive level Take a leading role in our intelligence collection, triage, and timely dissemination to stakeholders. You will be involved in collating, analysing, and communicating trend data from our intelligence collection to contribute to Vodafone’s understanding of the relevant cyber threat landscape; supporting Incident Response; and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) Researching threats, Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and threat actor TTPs to support Threat Hunting, Signature Development and Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) process. We will value your ability to evaluate and refine available technical intelligence feeds to derive maximum value Establishing and maintaining mutual technical intelligence sharing with credible external sources and work with Vodafone operating companies to coordinate a global intelligence sharing community Collaborate with and support Incident Response teams where appropriate and provide cyber intelligence support during ongoing incidents Who You Are Core competencies, knowledge and experience: A proven track record in working within cyber threat intelligence team and defending a large organisation from top-tier threat actors Experience / capability in threat intelligence trend analysis and providing data to management to support Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis The ability to be a capable and supportive mentor to colleagues who are less experienced / are at an earlier stage of their career development Ability to generate clear and concise evidence-based reports, analysis, and presentations for stakeholders from technical CSOC analysts to managers and, occasionally, the Senior Leadership Team What's In It For You Discretionary yearly bonus: 10% Annual leave: 28 days bank holidays the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year Charity days: 5 days/year Maternity leave: 52 weeks out of which 39 weeks are fully paid 13 weeks half pay and 6 months - working 4 days, getting paid 5 Private pension: You can contribute up to 5% of your basic pay with 2:1 matching from Vodafone up to 10%.
