Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEND Teacher based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis. You will be responsible for providing tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have the best possible learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the unique needs of SEND students
2. Developing and implementing individualised learning plans and strategies
3. Collaborating with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to student development
4. Tracking student progress, adjusting teaching methods and plans to support continuous improvement
5. Creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic success and student well-being
What We’re Looking For:
1. A fully qualified Teacher with proven experience supporting SEND students
2. Strong skills in classroom and behaviour management
3. Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet diverse individual needs
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on student growth
5. A proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges and problem-solving
