A leading waste management company is seeking a results-driven and dynamic Business Development Manager to join its growing team. This role will focus on driving sales and generating new business opportunities in the Honiton area.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a sales strategy to increase revenue and expand the client base within the waste management sector in Honiton and surrounding areas.
Identify and pursue new sales leads through targeted research and networking.
Prepare and submit competitive quotations in line with company standards.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
Provide regular sales reports to management, highlighting key successes and areas for improvement.
Utilise various sales techniques, including field sales, to establish and maintain strong relationships with both potential and existing clients.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the waste management industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and internal teams.
A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for regular travel.
