Salary & Benefits:
1. Base Salary: £25,628 - £28,326 per annum
2. Market Supplement: £5,000 per annum
3. Total Potential Earnings: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum (including enhancements for market supplement, evenings, and weekends)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Induction: The first four weeks include a comprehensive induction and mandatory training.
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Secure Residential Support Worker to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people who face significant challenges. As part of our professional care team, you will create a structured, supportive, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Act as a 'therapeutic parent' and role model, building positive and trusting relationships with young people.
5. Provide a stable and caring environment for individuals displaying extreme behaviour and distress.
6. Exhibit patience, empathy, and consistency, maintaining a calm approach even in challenging situations.
Experience & Qualifications:
7. Experience in residential, secure, or similar settings is an advantage but not essential.
8. Full training and ongoing professional development will be provided.

Shift Pattern:
15. Includes working alternate weekends, with a mix of early and late shifts, and sleep-in duties.
