Your responsibilities and tasks:
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a frontline team of Service Engineers, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and business growth. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, compliance, and team development.
1. Supervise, lead, and coordinate a team of Service Engineers to ensure high-quality service.
2. Support training, certification, and career progression for team members.
3. Conduct performance reviews, set expectations, and provide coaching and mentoring.
4. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and retaining skilled engineers to maintain service excellence.
5. Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Quality regulations and industry standards.
6. Monitor job execution to optimise profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
7. Analyse job reports and generate timely and accurate quotations.
8. Oversee work scheduling and resource planning to maximize productivity.
9. Track labour, material costs, and revenues to ensure accurate invoicing.
10. Identify sales leads, pull-through opportunities, and contract change orders.
11. Attend site coordination meetings and liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
12. Manage subcontractors and project administration to ensure seamless service delivery.
13. Ensure contracts are fulfilled on time, within budget, and in compliance with obligations.
14. Foster a safety-first culture, ensuring training and compliance with safety standards.
15. Support business growth and profitability through process improvements and cost efficiency.
16. Promote strong leadership behaviours, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
Your profile and qualifications:
1. City & Guild Level 3 in Refrigeration & AC
2. Time Served apprenticeship or Equivalent.
3. IOSH/NEBOSH
4. Proven Leadership: Experience in managing a service team, with strong people management skills.
5. Technical Expertise: Hands-on industry-related experience and problem-solving skills.
6. Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to interpret and meet customer requirements.
7. Commercial Awareness: Skilled in quotations, budget management, and driving profitability.
8. Strong Coordination Skills: Ability to oversee operations, scheduling, and resource planning.
9. Ethical & Accountable: A results-driven professional with integrity and a commitment to excellence.
