Our Day Ward team is comprised of experienced nurses and healthcare assistants supported by our welcoming Day Surgery Ward Manager, Ella. Supporting the Ella in leading the day surgery ward team in the provision of high quality, compassionate care. Acting as a role model to all team members in the delivery of a high standard of evidenced based nursing care, utilising effective management and leadership skills in the operational management of the day surgery areas. You will support in the management of all nursing and administration staff in the wards from the selection and recruitment of staff to managing their personal and professional development. All of our surgeries are planned well in advance so you will be able to plan your week with ease knowing your work schedule wont change. Your sound clinical and Infection control knowledge combined with your ability to solve problems and think both literally and laterally will enable you to coach and support others in your team. We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge.
