Job Title: General Practitioner (GP)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to join our dedicated team at a well-established GP surgery in Crawley. The role offers the opportunity to work 6 sessions per week, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. As a GP, you will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions, while also contributing to the overall development and success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care: Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients across all age groups, managing a broad range of health conditions. Deliver care in line with current clinical guidelines and best practices, ensuring a patient-centered approach at all times.
2. Clinical Consultations: Conduct patient consultations, including face-to-face, telephone, and video appointments. Use clinical knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, prescribing medications and treatment plans as appropriate.
3. Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with clinical and legal standards.
4. Collaborative Working: Work closely with the practice team, including nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure smooth delivery of care and efficient patient flow.
5. Health Promotion and Preventative Care: Promote healthy lifestyles and preventative care initiatives, including chronic disease management, immunizations, and screenings.
6. Multidisciplinary Team Work: Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and collaborate with external healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care for patients with complex medical needs.
7. Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice, supporting clinical audits, reviews, and the development of patient care protocols.
8. Professional Development: Stay up to date with the latest medical advancements, clinical guidelines, and practice policies. Participate in training and development opportunities, both within the practice and externally.
9. Patient Communication: Provide clear, empathetic communication with patients, their families, and carers, ensuring that patients understand their conditions and treatment options.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Fully qualified GP with registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and in good standing
* Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) (or equivalent)
* Strong clinical knowledge and experience in managing a wide variety of medical conditions
* Experience working within a primary care setting is preferred
* Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong commitment to patient care and a compassionate approach to healthcare
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay: £100,000.00-£110,000.00 per year
