Oakhouse Foods deliver delicious frozen meals, essential groceries and a range of texture modified meals. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service from the team in the office, the warehouse and our drivers. We are looking for a telesales/ customer service advisor to join us in St Albans.
Part Time Office, Finance Assistant/ Customer Service Advisor
Oakhouse Foods is a home delivery company delivering high quality frozen meals, a range of essential household goods and a range of pureed and softer meals. Outstanding admin and customer service is critical, building relationships with our customers is fundamental and having a pro-active "can do" attitude is essential.
The role
Working as part of a small team to provide office and finance support as well as excellent and personal service to our existing and new customers.
Responsibilities
1. Supporting the Finance function ie processing invoices and incoming payments, adding invoices to SAP as well as general office/ admin support.
2. Supporting the Customer Service and Telesales team.
3. Building a relationship with customers to maintain repeat business.
4. Confident telephone manner as part of great communication skills (verbal and written).
5. Log all orders on SAP system correctly.
6. Maintaining the customer databases to a high standard.
7. Supporting all areas of the business by communicating customer needs.
Skills
1. Strong background in an office and or customer service environment where attention to detail is critical.
2. Experience of working within a finance team (we are not looking for a qualified accountant!) where accuracy is essential.
3. Proficient with inputting data and maintaining effective reports.
4. Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
5. Excellent time management and self-organisation skills while working under differing pressures.
6. Team player who can help in other areas of the business when needed.
7. Competent computer skills including Microsoft packages especially Excel. Experience of working with SAP would be beneficial but not essential.
8. The ability to drive is a bonus as you may be needed occasionally to help with procurement and or deliveries.
Location
* You will be based at our warehouse in AL1, St Albans where there is free on-site parking available.
Hours
* Part Time hours to be discussed at interview with a focus on finishing between 4.30 and 5pm. Talk to us about what would work for you.
Holidays
* You will be entitled to pro rata allocation of 25 days holiday per year once you have successfully passed your probationary period. The holiday year will run from 01 April through to 31 March. All holidays must be agreed in advance with your manager and are subject to approval.
