Key responsibilities will include: Overseeing a framework of robust clinical governance, safety and quality across the division; Ensuring safe staffing reviews are undertaken; Line management and professional leadership of the nursing, AHP and healthcare scientists workforce, Lead for CQC oversight and the divisional lead for the Trust Quality and Safety Improvement Plan (QSIP) Act as our divisional lead for complaints and all matters relating to patient experience. Will be accountable for providing excellent professional and clinical leadership within nursing services. Lead alongside the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, personalised care that is responsive to feedback from our patients and staff. Work collaboratively and provide leadership and support for nurses, support staff and AHPs within the division, ensuring that patients and staff are safe, cared for and listened to. Lead on the divisional implementation of national and local quality drivers arising from national enquiries (eg. Frances, Keogh, and Berwick).Provide management responsibility, leadership & expert advice to divisional Heads of Nursing, Matrons / Clinical Heads of Service on a variety of clinical issues to ensure clinical, safeguarding & educational standards set by the Trust are implemented & monitored within the division. You will take lead responsibility for clinical governance and risk management ensuring processes are in place for monitoring, management and analysis of incidents and will be required to support the Chief Nurse with the delivery of a wider corporate nursing and quality agenda.
