We are seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Management team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth running of our facilities and delivering a high-quality service to customers and stakeholders.
You will provide essential administrative and operational support across all aspects of Facilities Management, ensuring excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
This is a varied role that will require excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently, supporting both employees and visitors.
The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for facilities-related queries and will help maintain a safe, secure, and well-organised workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Front of house such as welcoming visitors & supporting them appropriately
* Ensuring security procedures are followed
* Delivery of support services such as porterage, meeting room management, managing the FM mailbox
* Inductions for new starters, including H&S and environmental inductions
* Logging, facilitating and overseeing reactive and PPM visits
* Ensuring compliance for environmental & HSEQ standards
* Completion and compliance of traffic management plans, fire risk assessments and water hygiene arrangements as appropriate
* Completing and assisting with audits including security
* Supporting the delivery of low to medium risk projects
* General admin support for the team
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Ideally candidates will have experience of working in Facilities previously
* Team player
* Excellent communication skills – with good standard of written and spoken English
* Good computer skills and comfortable using MS Office
* Customer focused
* Problem Solver
* Experienced in a fast paced environment
