About the role: The school is seeking a versatile and committed individual to join their team, offering vital support and cover across various classes. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), your main responsibility will be to lead pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects. While in-depth subject expertise isn’t required, confidence in classroom management and the ability to engage students effectively is essential. You must also be confident in managing a range of complex needs, including students who are non-verbal and have complex learning difficulties. In addition to leading lessons, you’ll also provide vital teaching assistant support, working closely with class teachers to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
