Senior Change Manager – Role Overview
Sitting within the Operational Excellence Directorate, Change Management Services are responsible for the implementation of changes into operational teams, ensuring that internal colleagues and external stakeholders understand what they need to do differently, the benefit to them of doing so and when they need to do it from.
We plan how changes need to land in operational teams, effectively scheduling and influencing how improvements are delivered. This enables change to embed quickly, helping us to realise the benefits of working differently for ourselves and our customers.
Senior Change Manager – Key responsibilities
* Produce high quality Operational Impact reports, change plans, business readiness recommendations, benefit profiles and reports updating on progress and risks to delivery.
* Present change products and outcomes to leaders, key stakeholders and those impacted by changes in a clear and concise way to create an understanding of what is changing and how it will be implemented, taking feedback and identifying improvements.
* Fostering and developing collaborative relationships with key delivery partners within and outside own team. Keeping all updated as appropriate and taking them effectively on the change journey to deliver the required outcomes.
* Actively problem solve, devise and test solutions, whilst keeping the key stakeholders updated on risks, progress and next steps, escalating where required.
* To be flexible to changing Agency priorities and to respond to wider team requirements to support change landing well across the Portfolio of Business Changes.
* Occasional travel will be required with overnight stays. We are reasonable with our expectations and provide flexible working arrangements to support this need.
