The on target earning potential for this role is £37,346 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £32,346, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: To closely assist the Golf Courses Manager in all aspects of the successful maintenance for each of our golf courses and to ensure course set up is carried out in line with the Gleneagles standards Taking an active role in supervising our team during the implementation of daily works and projects Develop a strong rapport with members of the team and drive the One Team Culture within the department Accountability for the consistent delivery of brand standards across the golf courses to ensure the visual and preparatory tasks (to include tees, fairways, rough, approaches, greens, and holes) are completed daily Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and awareness of current golf course chemical products available to the UK market and understanding of the rules of golf relating to golf course maintenance and golf course set-up Communicating effectively and encouraging good communication within the team through radio and workchat communication, leading daily team briefings and actively participating in team meetings. Collating data, including Stimp meter, Clegg hammer, POGO readings Maintaining full working knowledge of all SOP’s and completing updates when required Ensuring you attend and participate in all training sessions required of your role including company and technical training Responding to emergencies in a calm and professional manner, in-line with company procedures and ensuring correct follow up action is taken in the best interests of the health, safety and security of the business, its employees and members To bring to the immediate attention of the Course Manager / Deputy any pests, diseases or obstructions found whilst performing your duties, which may affect the presentation and playability of the golf courses.
