Applications are welcome for the above fixed term, full and part time (40 or 20 hours per week) post based in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The post is available from Feb 2025 to Aug 2025.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of LAS in Acute and General Medicine wholly based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The post will be integrated into the middle grade rota depending on experience and will support safe and effective patient flow from admission to discharge.
We have a very active and effective QI team who have supported a number of projects to be presented across UK and Europe and provide excellent opportunities to develop your CV.
The posts will allow time for clinical development whether that be in Education, Quality Improvement, or an area of your own interest. 90% of your time will be spent working across acute and general medicine with the remaining 10% assigned to development days. This will allow you the opportunity to develop your CV for future training applications.
The post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
