Your Role:
* Teach GCSE-Level English: Deliver engaging lessons designed to build core English skills, empowering students to achieve their GCSE qualifications.
* Small Class Sizes: Work in a quieter, more focused setting that allows for personalised instruction and individual student growth.
* Trauma-Informed Practices: Implement a sensitive, understanding approach that supports students’ emotional needs alongside their academic goals.
* Collaborate with Experts: Partner with teaching assistants, mental health professionals, and other colleagues to provide a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
Who We’re Looking For:
* UK-Qualified English Teacher: UK QTS is essential, along with experience in teaching English at GCSE level.
* Dedicated to Student Success: Passionate about helping students with SEMH needs build confidence and reach their academic goals.
* Adaptable and Patient: Able to tailor lessons for individual needs and maintain an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
* Team Player: Works collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote student well-being and success.
* No Prior SEMH Experience Required: While experience with SEMH students is beneficial, it’s not essential.
