We’re seeking an experienced HR Consultant, ideally based in the South East, to support our growing consultancy. This is a permanent, full or part-time position, primarily home-based, with some travel required. In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary of £40,000 – £42,000 (FTE) per annum, based on experience, along with a range of benefits.

The Role: HR Consultant
As an HR Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-value HR support to our clients, working alongside our People Consulting team to provide tailored HR solutions. You’ll be involved in a mix of advisory, policy development, and project-based work, ensuring businesses receive expert guidance in all aspects of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ HR Advisory: Be the first point of contact for clients, offering expert advice on employee relations, policy development, restructuring, and employment law.
✔ Client Account Management: Build strong relationships, supporting business development and ensuring excellent client engagement.
✔ HR Documentation & Policy Development: Draft contracts, handbooks, policies, and tailored HR documents to meet each client’s needs.
✔ HR Project Work: Lead and support initiatives in performance management, training, salary benchmarking, and HR best practices.
✔ Internal Team Support: Assist with workload management and capacity planning, helping the team deliver efficient, high-quality HR services.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for an HR professional who is proactive, commercially minded, and confident managing client relationships.
Essential Skills & Experience:
HR Generalist or ER Advisory experience within a consultancy or multi-client environment.
CIPD Level 7 qualification (desirable) with a strong understanding of employment law.
Employee Relations expertise, including experience handling complex disciplinary and grievance cases.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients.
Commercial awareness, balancing employment law with business needs.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.
Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
