2nd Line Support Engineer
2nd Line Support Engineer – 3 Month Contract (Extension Available) – OUTSIDE IR35 – Travel Required (South & SW)
We’re seeking an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support across multiple locations, including Kent, Bath, Swindon, and Newbury. This is an initial 3 month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role requires travel between sites, supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, hardware troubleshooting, and IT service requests.
Responsibilities:
* Experience handling and resolving 2nd Line IT support tickets efficiently.
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10 troubleshooting, peripherals, printers, and hardware.
* Experience providing remote and desk side support to a wide user base.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
* Basic networking skills, including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and cable patching.
* Experience with imaging endpoint systems and liaising with third party suppliers for hardware requests.
* Experience working in clinical or healthcare environments (desirable but not essential).
Desirable Skills:
* Experience working on software rollouts, patching, and IT transformation projects.
* Basic PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
* Experience supporting VOIP telephony and remote access solutions.
