Shorterm Group are looking for a Field Service Engineer / Mobile technician to join a client on a permanent basis. The client is one of the largest PCV/PSV manufacturers and has a strong heritage, over 125 years in the market worldwide.

Details about the role:
Responsible for ensuring maximum vehicle availability for customers throughout the Midlands.
Working on our customers sites, providing a quick and diligent service, to diagnose problems and complete repairs, while being health and safety conscious.
The role will include schedule and reactive repairs and maintenance.
Completing all associated paperwork, upon completion of repairs/maintenance on vehicles.
Company van provided, fully equipped with tools and parts, as required.
37 hour work week, typically between 05:00-20:00. Your line manager will communicate hours on a regular basis.
You'll get to work on and learn about various vehicle drivelines, including battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell, diesel and diesel hybrid.
Requirements:
Experience in the maintenance and repair of buses or heavy goods vehicles, including body, electrical, and mechanical.
Working on modern vehicles, preferably with electrical diagnostic skills using Multiplex systems.
Experience diagnosing and repairing of engines and transmissions, as well as compressed air systems.
Time served PCV/LGV/HGV Technician with a recognised qualification, or equivalent experience.
Good timekeeping, reliable and with a customer facing mindset. A focus quality and accuracy, always expecting a high standard of work.
Self-organised with good planning skills, and a professional manner at all times are essential.
Flexible to do overtime (paid for) as required.
Computer literate and able to use Microsoft packages.
A Full UK Driving License
