Job Title: English Tutor with SEN Experience Location South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham Job Type Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary £20 - £30 per hour Job Duties Provide tailored English tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs Assist students in improving their reading, writing, and comprehension skills Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Monitor and track student progress Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Required Qualifications Proven experience working with students with SEN Strong knowledge of English language and literature Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans Education Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field Experience Previous experience as an English tutor, particularly with SEN students Knowledge and Skills Demonstrated understanding of SEN teaching methods Ability to motivate and inspire students Strong problem-solving skills Organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience working in a school or educational setting Working Conditions This role involves working with students in an educational setting, adapting to different learning needs and environments.
