Technical Engineer Leeds/Sheffield
Approach Personnel are proud to be working with a new build housing developer who are seeking a Technical Engineer to join them in their South Yorkshire regional developments based between Leeds and Sheffield.
This role is perfect for someone with experience working with Section 104 and Section 38 drawings and works, roads and sewers, drainage and other groundworks/civils packaged on new build housing projects either through a main contractor or housing developer.
Day to Day:
* Taking responsibility for the technical information for each project, including drawings/design details, supplier/services procurement, quotations, approvals and agreements. Ensuring all information and documentation is issued and received accordingly.
* Advising, engaging with, and appointing external consultants for investigations, surveys and reports. Ensuring that all external consultants are compliant with plans, guidelines, health and safety regulations and all information is produced in a timely manner.
* Attend and contribute to all relevant meetings including pre-start, weekly, monthly, progress reviews and final handover.
* Ensuring timely distribution of all technical information and relevant drawings, providing ongoing technical support across the projects.
About You
* HND, HNC, or Degree in a relevant field e.g. construction, civil engineering, building studies etc.
* Proven experience in new build housing.
* Knowledge and understanding of design and specification of road and sewer agreements and design.
* Knowledge and understanding of utility agreements and design.
* Understanding of CDM Regulations, LABC/NHBC requirements and codes of practice.
* Proficient in using and understanding AutoCAD.
