Role Overview: Seeking a dynamic and experienced New Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities and fill warehouse capacity. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong sales background, preferably within the food or logistics industry. This role requires analytical thinking, strategic planning and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Identify New Business Opportunities: Research market trends, assess competition and explore expansion opportunities. Market Research & Strategy Development: Analyse market trends and industry insights to identify growth opportunities. Sales & Lead Generation: Generate leads through networking, cold calls and referrals. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders. Proposal & Presentation Development: Prepare business proposals, presentations and pitches. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, sales and product development teams. Warehouse Utilisation: Ensure the new facility in Theale is filled at an appropriate pace, aiming for 60% capacity by January 2026. Key Skills: Analytical Thinking Communication Skills Negotiation Skills Strategic Thinking Relationship Building Sales Expertise Project Management Problem-Solving Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, consultative sales or account management. Experience within the logistics, transport, or supply chain industry is highly valued. Experience in customer-facing roles, such as pre-sales or applications engineering, is beneficial. Additional Details: Working Hours: Typically, 8am to 6pm, with office hours from 7am to 7pm.
