This full-time position is available for an immediate start and is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils, helping them achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support to teachers, ensuring lessons run smoothly and efficiently.
Work one-to-one or with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning objectives and help with specific learning needs.
Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and help implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress to teachers.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages engagement and participation.
Supervise pupils during break times, on school trips, and other activities as required.
Support in managing classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful learning space.Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting (desirable).
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability in responding to diverse pupil needs.
