What we are looking for:
17. Excellent organisational, administrative and minute taking skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels
18. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages, such as Word, Excel and Publisher
19. The ability to work on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage changing priorities to meet tight deadlines
20. Experience of working in a Health or Social Care environment
21. Flexible approach and willingness to support colleagues in the wider administration team and main reception on occasion
Based on the ward reception, you will be the ‘go to person’ on the Inpatient Unit, processing Inpatient referrals, ensuring that all admission documentation is prepared prior to nursing/ medical consultation. You will also prepare and update supporting patient records as well as providing administration support at the weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings. You will co-ordinate and support with discharge/ transport arrangements for patients, maintain all the stationery within the ward used for patient records and place the weekly ward supplies order online.
