Role responsibilities
* Managing and advising a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, landlords, company directors and trusts
* Leading on complex tax planning projects including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, residency and domicile issues
* Overseeing the preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns and ensuring HMRC compliance
* Acting as the key contact for clients and developing long-term advisory relationships
* Mentoring and supporting junior members of the tax team through technical guidance and professional development
* Contributing to business development initiatives and representing the tax team in client pitches and networking events
* Staying current with tax legislation and contributing to firm-wide knowledge sharing

Candidate requirements
* CTA qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in personal tax
* In-depth technical expertise in inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and private client advisory
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and high-value portfolios
* Excellent communication skills and a confident, consultative style
* Proven experience in mentoring and developing junior team members
* Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for helping shape the growth of the tax function
