Job Description:
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. The shift pattern for this position is M-F 12.30-4.00, M 3.30-7.00 T-F 2.30-6.00.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
This post is to provide a comprehensive support officer and reception service to facilitate the smooth running of Eastwood Health and Care Centre. This will involve front reception duties, face to face public contact as well as telephone work liaising with all services within the building and other service areas. It will involve lone working as well as teamwork. Tasks will include clinical waste disposal, confidential waste disposal, furniture removals, litter picking and in winter months gritting if required. Compassion is a must when dealing with the public and good listening skills are essential.
