Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in South Liverpool. This role will involve working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:\n\nSupporting children with a range of additional needs, such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.\nAdapting learning materials and activities to suit individual needs.\nWorking closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised support plans.\nEncouraging social and emotional development and promoting positive behaviour.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nTo be successful in this role, candidates must have:\n\nA Level 2 (or higher) Teaching Assistant qualification.\nPrevious experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.\nA good understanding of the needs of primary-aged children and how to support them effectively.\nExcellent communication skills, patience, and a caring nature.\n\nHow to Apply:\n\nIf you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and have the necessary experience, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nCall Tradewind Recruitment at (phone number removed)\n Email Oli at \n\nDocuments Required:\n\nTo be considered for the role, candidates must provide:\n\nProof of Right to Work in the UK\nEnhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)\nOverseas Police Clearance (if applicable)\nCV covering the last 10 years of employment (minimum)This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school and make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs
