Cleaner

Working Hours: 24.5 hours per week, 36 weeks per year
Salary: £14,633.78 pro rata, £22,100 FTE per annum
As our Cleaner, you will provide cleaning services in classrooms, offices, and public areas.
The post holder will undertake assigned tasks and discharge their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities of our Cleaner:
1. Cleaning the buildings and grounds to include coverings, fixtures, furniture, and sanitary facilities (reactive and planned)
2. Moving chairs, desks, and furniture as requested
3. Operating cleaning equipment
4. Ensuring equipment and consumables are safely used and correctly stored
5. Undertaking routine maintenance of cleaning equipment
6. Reporting defects including faulty fixtures and fittings e.g. lights, furniture, etc.
7. Ensuring that all cleaning waste/rubbish is disposed of in line with college procedure
What we’re looking for in our Cleaner:
1. Attention to detail and ability to ensure quality standards are met.
2. Previous experience in cleaning services.
3. Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Basic computer skills.
