Role Overview
The Customer-Facing Technical Account Manager will manage a high-profile retail account. In this role, you will interact daily with technical and commercial managers, delivering business and technical strategies tailored to customer needs.
You will drive quality improvement plans through collaboration while keeping supply chain, production, growers, and customers at the core of your focus.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact for all day-to-day quality and technical matters for assigned customer accounts.
* Develop and implement clear technical strategies for customer accounts in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including technologists and depot QA teams.
* Monitor supplier performance (standards, quality, integrity) and implement proactive continuous improvement plans.
* Partner with compliance and technical teams to ensure clarity on targets and maintain robust customer relationships.
* Support the Senior Technical Manager in managing customer relationships and developing technical strategies.
* Share knowledge to support development within the technical team.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a motivated individual with:
* Experience in the food industry (understanding of pesticides is an advantage).
* Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
* Excellent adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
* Self-driven while motivating wider teams effectively.
