Your work will contribute to reunification with birth families or the assessment of Special Guardianship Orders (SGO) to enable children to thrive with foster carers or extended family members. Key Responsibilities: Conducting thorough parenting assessments, evaluating capacity and potential risks. Working towards the reunification of children with their families where appropriate. Completing SGO Part 1 assessments to assess suitability of placements with foster carers or family members. Preparing court statements and providing professional input during legal proceedings. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for children and families. Supporting families through tailored interventions while adhering to relevant legislation and best practices.
