Document Preparation: Assist in drafting and proofreading legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning instruments. Case Management: Organize and maintain client files, ensuring documents are accurately filed and easily accessible. Meeting Coordination: Schedule and manage appointments and meetings for attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders. Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support the team in addressing client needs and inquiries. Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies as required. Billing and Invoicing: Accurately record billable hours and expenses, assisting in generating invoices to clients. Office Coordination: Work alongside legal support staff to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure exceptional client service. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in legal studies. Experience: Proven experience as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role (experience with private client matters is advantageous). Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite and legal case management software. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to show empathy and professionalism in client interactions.
