Group Supply Chain Assurance Technologist

What You'll Do
* Raw Material Compliance – Check and approve raw material specifications against legal requirements, Cranswick, and customer policies within the assigned time frame.
* Supplier Approval – Ensure all raw material suppliers have been approved according to supplier approval procedures.
* Data Management – Maintain databases such as Quor, SharePoint, and Access Databases with all supplier approval packs.
* Supplier Partnerships – Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through monitoring of standards, providing feedback and advice, and overseeing action plans for improvement.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration – Organise and lead meetings with Cranswick sites to discuss supplier and raw material status.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in food safety and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You should be comfortable working independently and within a small team, handling supplier relations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Candidate Requirements
* Ideally educated to degree level within the Food Sector.
* Minimum five years' experience in checking product specifications against legal and customer requirements.
* Proficiency in cloud-based systems and Microsoft applications.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, and internal departments.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple queries across the group.
* Full current driving licence and access to a car (preferred).
