About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Snowfields Academy. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide academic support to students, helping them to access learning activities and achieve their targets.
* Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
* Support the development of students' social and emotional skills, promoting positive relationships and behavior.
* Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
* Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for education and a commitment to supporting students with special educational needs. You will have previous experience of working with young people, either in an academic setting or as a voluntary worker. You will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy and have a sincere commitment to sharing our long-term aims and drive for continuous improvement.

Snowfields Academy is a new secondary provision for students with ASD, offering a range of GCSEs and other qualifications for young people on a blend of academic and vocational pathways. Our academy benefits from being a brand new school with a design tailored to the students it provides for, carefully considered to make the most of both its inside and outside environments in order to enhance the learning of its students.
