Position Purpose The role will be responsible for technical Controllership Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting, Financial Analysis, Intercompany transactions, Reconciliations, and Process improvements across Europe. Including, but not limited to, processing and reconciling of timber and new pallet goods receipts, calculating cost of goods sold postings, reconciling general ledger accounts, and reconciling timber inventory ($30M). Business partner with global stakeholders to build out, adapt, and streamline process flows, and business partner with the technical SAP team to provide reliable and accurate accounting information, and to test new processes for SAP module implementations for Timber Procurement Project in Europe. Be responsible for all Europe Intercompany recharges ($0.5bn) including preparation of monthly Intercompany imports and exports schedules and be the primary contact for all cross-border inquiries and resolve invoice disputes. In addition, the position will also focus on the cost of losses analytics, Reconciliations between different SAP modules, supporting with PWC and Tax audit queries, and monthly close process.
