The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling surgical loupes and headlight systems with superior magnification and resolution to healthcare clinicians. The role will play a crucial role in driving sales and building and maintaining relationships with healthcare clinicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Strategically develop and implement a territory plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships in assigned territory to become a trusted advisor and support company branding efforts.
* Utilize CRM to properly manage sales opportunities within the territory.
* Stay informed on products, technologies, and competitive activity to support sales.
* Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare clinicians.
* Conduct market research to identify customer needs and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territory.
* Collaborate with various departments including Customer Care, Technical Support, and Manufacturing to ensure prompt and quality customer service is provided.
* Contribute to product innovation by obtaining insight from healthcare clinicians and working with others and contributing new ideas.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional material.
* Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings to provide valuable insights to the management team.
* Attend industry conferences and events to expand our network and promote products.
* Travel domestically (ground/air) up to 50%.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required, preferably in the medical/dentistry industry.
Skills and Abilities:
* Ability to travel around 50% via ground or air required.
* Experience using CRM software and other sales tools required.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
* Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness required.
* Excellent negotiation and presentation skills required.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
