The Role As an OD Officer, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering initiatives that drive employee engagement, development, and organisational change. Key Responsibilities: Deliver OD and change initiatives to enhance employee engagement and recognition. Plan, design, and implement projects aligned with the People and Culture Strategy. Lead the development of a coaching culture across the organisation. Facilitate engagement activities such as focus groups and research reports to improve organisational practices. Collect and analyse employee engagement data, ensuring all voices are represented. Provide individual feedback using diagnostic tools such as 360 assessments and psychometrics. Design and deliver leadership and development programmes for employees at all levels. Ensure all OD activities are inclusive, promoting equality and diversity across the service. Why NFRS? Experience/Qualification Experience of working within an Organisational Development, Learning and Development or change management function. Have an in-depth knowledge of OD theories and principles. Understand equalities issues and the ways in which best practice can be applied. Be able to work as part of a team or independently to solve problems. Have a degree or equivalent professional qualification relevant to the role. Have a recognised professional qualification at Level 5 in Coaching and/or Mentoring or have a willingness to work towards a qualification. Be willing to travel around the county of Nottinghamshire.
