An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, highly motivated, hardworking individual to join the Channel Day Unit, a friendly and dedicated team. The job role is varied and requires individuals who can adapt well, manage all duties effectively and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
General duties include comprehensive administration, reception and ward duties to the Channel Day Surgery Unit.
You are expected to admit and discharge patients, prepare and retrieve notes for theatre lists and communicate well with staff, patients and visitors.
A flexible attitude to working to meet the demands of the department is essential.
The successful candidate will work as a team member within the ward environment for the collection and preparation of notes for elective surgery patients, be willing to cover reception and ward clerk roles when required, full training will be given. Administration is a vital part for our patient pathways and this position will support both staff and patients to achieve a smooth elective surgical pathway.

This post will incorporate various roles including reception duties and ward clerk role as well as the preparation of patient notes for surgery.
