Brushwood House is a vibrant 60 bed Nursing home providing accommodation, care and support for residents with general Nursing and EMI Nursing assessed needs. This job is fixed term until 12th May 2025 until a decision is made regarding the longer term model of provision.
We require a Domestic to join our team to ensure a clean & safe environment for our residents. We are seeking a professional and dedicated individual to join an established team at Liverpool City Council. The Role:
* Cleaning designated areas to ensure they are maintained in a hygienic condition, including polishing/dusting, cleaning paintwork, windows, hoovering, and using cleaning equipment.
* Carrying out all general laundering duties including washing, ironing, folding of linen and garments as instructed by the Resource Manager.
* Using larger domestic type washing and drying machines and rotary irons.
* Ensuring and maintaining the laundry area in a clean and tidy state, including kitchen duties such as cleaning work surfaces, tables, chairs, and crockery.
As this role is part time, the salary and allowances (where applicable) will be pro rata.
