Job Title: Electrical Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the East Midlands.
About the Role:
* Coordinating electrical and instrumentation commissioning activities with clients and engineering teams on new builds and upgrades of existing systems.
* Setting up control panels, PLCs, HMIs, AC and DC drives, and instrumentation on-site or off-site.
* Carrying out commissioning tests, reviewing test results, and producing test reports to confirm compliance with technical specifications.
* Responding to on-call service requests, including breakdowns and faults on electrical and automation equipment remotely or on-site.
* Documenting and controlling all changes, including software revisions.
* Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Service teams to ensure continuous development of machinery and equipment, processes, and resolving technical issues.
* Completing minor installation works, modifications, and snagging tasks.
About You:
* Experience in commissioning machinery and equipment in heavy industrial environments, such as mining, oil and gas, power generation, steel production, or rail.
* Able to read and interpret PLC ladder logic and function blocks using Siemens S7-1200/1500 range of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and adept user of TIA Portal.
* Holding a full driving license and willingness to travel to projects across the UK.
* Demonstrable experience in E&I application fault finding.
* Demonstrable experience in site safety procedures (LOTO, RAMS, etc.).
What We Offer:
* Competitive salary: £55,000 - £65,000 OTE c£80,000 per annum.
