We are looking for a Theatre Healthcare Assistant for our Gloucester service, based at Aspen Medical Centre. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will have a background and experience in theatre, outpatients or recovery. This role is 25 hours per week, with hours worked between Monday and Friday, so there is no evening working, and nor do we operate on bank holidays. Main duties of the job As a Theatre Healthcare Assistant (HCA) you will support the patient through their procedure, providing a high standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team. The HCA will attend to the peri-operative needs of the patients, under the direct management of a Registered Practitioner. You will help maintain an environment that is conducive to the delivery of a high standard of individualised, holistic and safe patient care, and to the establishment of good communications between staff, patients and other visitors.
