About The Role
Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and families who have no recourse to public funds?
In this role, you'll assess destitution, identify needs, and arrange life-changing services for adults, children, and carers. You'll work at the heart of statutory frameworks, from the Care Act to the Human Rights Act, ensuring quality care and advocating for impactful solutions. Take charge of service planning, budget management, and shaping support for those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities
* Work with social care staff on individual cases at the discretion of the NRPF Team Manager or provide a professional and specialist advisory service on Local Authority responsibilities for NRPF matters to Health and Wellbeing Department and Children Social Care.
* Negotiate the most appropriate ways of achieving the objectives identified and liaise with other professionals and agencies involved in the provision of support for service users, incorporating them into an individual support/CIN plan.
* Maintain close links and liaise with other staff of the Department, and other agencies e.g. Home Office, Housing, DWP, HMRC, Health and voluntary and independent sector staff to ensure an integrated service is always considered.
About You
* Must have a wide range of life and social experience.
* Recent experience of paid employment with adults or children and families in either a health or social care setting.
* An insight into the problems faced by people with NRPF and local authority responsibilities.
* Experience in post or equivalent experience in assessment and provision of support to people with NRPF.
