Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Glan Usk Primary School
Glan Usk Primary School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, reliable, and caring Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning for pupils across the primary phase and for pupils with ALN. You should be suitably qualified and experienced and committed to furthering your own professional development. Prior experience of supporting pupils with ALN needs is highly desirable.

To commence 01.09.24 pending pre-employment and safeguarding checks. The positions are offered as follows: 33.5 hours. Pattern of Work: Monday 8:30am - 3:30pm, Tuesday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Wed-Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm. Holidays must be taken during school closure periods.

The appointment process will involve an observation with a group of pupils and an interview with members of the school leadership team and a member of our Governing Body.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). THIS POST REQUIRES YOU TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE EWC.
