The Role We are now recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our team to maintain effective and professional credit control support to the Independent Builders Merchant Group. Ensuring the timely processing and accurate application of customer payments, credit notes and other transactions Setting up customer accounts and setting credit limits based on company risk management policies Credit referencing and insurance cover activities at account set up, period credit reviews and customer credit increase requests Effective liaison with the agencies, branches, insurers, customers, and credit control manager to ensure policy compliance Effective liaison with the above stakeholders to collect cash timely and meet collection targets and other team KPI’s including, but not limited to bad debts, on stop accounts and DSO’s Support in the emerging risks to mitigate and opportunities to improve and find efficiency Experience Minimum 2 years Credit Control Experience (Desirable) Location and Hours The role will be based at our Branch Support Centre in Polegate, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
