About You
The marketing team supports our group of businesses to secure new revenue streams by identifying and attracting new clients. The main purpose and duties of the BD Campaign Manager in assisting these goals are:
Key Requirements:
* You will have a minimum of five years’ experience of working within a marketing or sales related environment and looking for your next challenge.
* A diligent and driven individual, you will exhibit a high level of attention to detail and be IT proficient in all Microsoft packages coupled with a good aptitude for systems. Someone who is confident, thorough and conscientious will do well in this role.
* This role manages people, so you should enjoy this as part of your technical marketing / sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and develop reporting on sales activities undertaken across our group of businesses.
* Provide reporting to all board levels on sales activities at monthly and quarterly intervals.
* Feature key statistics and analysis on all aspects of the Business Development process, measured against strategic goals and revenue.
* Liaise with BD leads in each of the businesses to ensure that lead generation campaigns are well researched, designed and executed.
* This will involve close liaison with each of the marketing account managers in place for supporting the group's businesses.
* Work with the marketing & BD team members to build, execute and report on BD campaigns.
* Ensure that reporting tools for BD opportunities from both new and existing clients are developed in line with each of the group’s business’ needs.
* Lead on the continuous development and enhancement of evolving internal data management procedures to meet business requirements.
* Contribute to data dictionary, standards, training, and ongoing process updates. Training newly onboarded colleagues on new processes, documentation and usage guidelines.
* Develop and document policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.
* Analyse business processes and identify opportunities to seek improvements in efficiencies and best practices in line with the ambitions of the business.
* Assume overall responsibility for the maintenance and development of the marketing CRM database (held in Microsoft CE) and marketing data within.
* Monitor and co-ordinate data cleansing and management processes as required to ensure data quality and reliability.
* Responsibility for marketing data governance, verification, and integrity.
* Support and contribute to data collection efforts, as needed, throughout the business.
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal users to assess needs and functional requirements. Partnering with key internal stakeholders, such as IT & PMO to deliver necessary capabilities and developments.
* Manage marketing campaign and validation processes to facilitate the development of sales opportunities within the Business Development team.
* Use CE Campaign management and other tools to build segments and execute client data for direct marketing campaigns.
* Collaborate directly with key stakeholders within the marketing department to map campaign processes.
* Oversee the preparation and delivery of meeting materials and research requests within agreed KPIs.
* Perform ad hoc analyses and research enquiries, as required, to support client relationship marketing efforts throughout the businesses.
* Oversee the management of meeting and pitch research within required timeframes.
* Offer effective line management for Tender Executives and CRM Data Team.
* Offer support and training within the team to develop knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities & Criteria
Location: Glasgow (Preferred) or Belfast
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with additional hours as and when required. All roles are subject to a six-month probationary period and all prospective employees are required to complete an Access NI check.
