Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks an Account Manager (Water Treatment) NorthEast to join its industry leading sales team. You’ll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts. Using a consultative sales approach, you’ll build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs. With good account leadership, you’ll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current account base. This role is for Northeast of England, including, but not limited to Durham, Yorkshire, Humberside, Derby/Notts/Lincolnshire. Support and develop an existing base of clients within the NE England. Carry out water testing of systems to validate correct application of our additives and equipment calibrations/first fix. Liaise with our Engineering team to provide innovative equipment platforms. Manage third-party vendors providing service to your customers. Provide support to customers in maintaining legionella compliance. Have oversight of internal processes from order placement to delivery. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers. Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges, and escalating to expert colleagues as required. Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, plant surveys, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels. Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco Water. Have knowledge and skills in industrial water treatment, typically linked to utilities such as cooling towers, boilers, pasteurisers and wastewater treatment plants. Understand UK Legionella compliance. Have a willingness and capability to explore and understand customer processes from mechanical, operational and chemical perspectives. Be part of a field-based sales and service team and will be expected to visit customer sites a minimum of 3 times per week. Perform on-site water testing, adjust dosing, and perform minor repairs to chemical dosing controllers and equipment, including calibrations and probe replacements. Be the owner of customer service plans, ensuring compliance and delivering the promise we make to our customers. Be the owner of a sales plan, responsible for growing the business and ensuring profitability, while supporting the application of our products and adoption of technical best-practices, driving continuous improvement and providing savings to our client base. What you´ll have: Five years of field or technical sales experience. Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role. Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc). Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience. Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
