Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day engineering operations on site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, HS2 standards, and contractual requirements.
* Provide accurate setting out and surveying using the latest technology.
* Manage and monitor the quality of work on site to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Collaborate with construction managers, project engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate work and resolve technical challenges.
* Maintain detailed site records, including daily diaries, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Liaise with the design and planning teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of drawings and specifications.
* Support in the implementation of value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
1. Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Relevant experience working as a Site Engineer on large-scale infrastructure or rail projects.
3. Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying, and construction methodologies.
4. Familiarity with modern construction technology and equipment.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
6. Proficient in CAD software, GPS, and other engineering tools.
7. Valid CSCS card (essential).
